PHAST! PHURIOUS! PHUN!

The 2nd Annual Men's Phat Tire Downhill Trip: Ride it! Sleep in tents! Eat Meat!

What Real Men Do

The 2nd Annual Phat Tire Camping Weekend for up to 30 rugged, manly men with hair on their chests! Gather for a weekend of camping, mountain biking, whiffle ball and top the evenings off with poker by the campfire and fabulous food by Chef Extraordinaire, DC Larrabee.

Rock & Ride

The Phat Tire Downhill is 18 miles of single-track downhill biking... novice through technically advanced riders are welcome! Treat your wheels to the famed Downieville Downhill trail that runs from Sierra Buttes west to the town of Downieville.

Arrive Friday (Bring Your Own Dinner), or Saturday morning by 9am to set up camp at Diablo Campground adjacent to Packard Creek in Bassets, CA.

Enjoy breakfast Saturday morning and hit the hill... hiking uphill to the ride. This is a not-so-short hike.

After barreling down the hill on wheels, barring any emergency heli-rides to the ER, you will have an excellent lunch by the river and talk about how much air you caught on the rock, and how near death you came, and how big that raspberry on your shin is from eating it over the handlebars... if anyone will listen.

Limp back to camp to enjoy cocktails, & DC's delicious fare by the campfire. Bring your cash for the Texas Hold 'Em game... can you win it? Will someone bet their bedroll?

If you can get up in the morning, breakfast will await you.

Please go home and shower/shave prior to kissing your wife, and do not mention that it was more fun than your honeymoon!
